A Bespoke Retreat for Retirement
This 30-year-old home was redesigned for two retired friends to enjoy their golden years. Custom furniture smoothed out uneven layouts, while light hues of beige, gray, and wood brightened the once-dim interiors. Elegant details—gold accents, ripple glass, and textured wallpapers—added understated luxury, while curved elements softened the design. A raised platform in the study offered ample storage for their book collection, while minimal cabinetry in the living area preserved spaciousness. The result is a harmonious, personalized sanctuary.。
Appreciating the Beauty of Earth
The young couple enjoyed the beauty of nature when they lived abroad and hence they are in favour of using earth tones in their apartment located in Happy Valley. Earth tones colours are rooted in nature, soothing and tend to be quite versatile. The designer incorporated these colours to draw inspiration from the outdoors and to make the interior feel more homey along with the white marble feature wall in the living room to add a touch of modern design to the home.
